The Kalevala Journal - 16-17
A conveniently introspective project to my roots that was my visual language project for my college course, Sep - Dec 2009. The final product is a hand-bound book with each individual page an original inked and painted with watercolors (hopefully this excuses the bad quality of some of the scans).
Designs, text (bar spells, songs & quotations from the Kalevala), concept, art & colors all (c) yours truly - DO NOT STEAL, or I will have to hunt you down and kill you for ruining months' worth of work.
Stories, characters & mythical creatures all originally from Finnish folklore.
